Use categories to reduce decision fatigue
Decide Later is an intentional category. It keeps difficult decisions from stopping progress on obvious ones. Give that category a deadline so it does not become permanent storage.
Measure large furniture, storage pieces, and mobility routes before assuming an item will fit. Include doorways, elevators, stairs, and clearance needed to use the item comfortably.
For documents, valuables, photographs, and sentimental items, create a separate review process rather than mixing them into routine discard decisions.
